      <title>Open Science SMART teaching units for the Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Together with Prof. Dr. Sarah Diefenbach (LMU Munich), I received funding from the &lt;strong&gt;Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern (vhb)&lt;/strong&gt; to develop SMART teaching units on Open Science (€18,000). The units – &lt;em&gt;Mastering Scientific Reporting and Collaborative Data Management&lt;/em&gt; – are short, interactive H5P learning activities that students and researchers can work through on their own or that lecturers can integrate into their courses.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Topics include transparent reporting of research, organizing and documenting research data, and working on data and code collaboratively in a reproducible way. The units are openly available via the

      <title>BITSS Catalyst: Open science training</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;The 
&lt;a href=&#34;https://www.bitss.org/&#34; target=&#34;_blank&#34; rel=&#34;noopener&#34;&gt;Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS)&lt;/a&gt; promotes transparency, reproducibility, and openness in social science research. As a &lt;strong&gt;BITSS Catalyst&lt;/strong&gt; (since 2023), I develop and disseminate training materials on open and reproducible research practices. A &lt;strong&gt;BITSS Catalyst Grant&lt;/strong&gt; (2024) supported the development of open science teaching material.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My workshops on reproducible data analysis with R and Quarto, and on good scientific practice, are available on the
